Dr. Imam Hasan Reza is an accomplished academic leader, sustainability researcher, and educationist with nearly three decades of experience in teaching, research, and institutional leadership. A founding academic of Presidency International School in 1997, he has played a pivotal role in shaping its academic ethos and long-term vision.

He holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), where he was deeply engaged in interdisciplinary research for over a decade, focusing on climate resilience, environmental management, and education–research linkages. He further enhanced his global academic exposure through a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, which significantly strengthened his expertise in education research, leadership, and innovation.

Dr. Reza has served devotedly in government university colleges and the University of Chittagong, contributing to higher education teaching, research mentoring, and academic development. He has published widely in reputed international journals and serves on the editorial boards of Frontiers journals.

After returning to Bangladesh, he rejoined Presidency in 2018 as Rector, where he currently leads and oversees multiple institutions under the Presidency Education umbrella. His leadership is guided by a vision to cultivate responsible, confident, and future-ready global citizens through meaningful learning, strong values, research-informed pedagogy, and active community engagement.
