Mr. Firoz Ahmed is the Vice Principal of Junior School at Presidency International School, Chattogram, and one of the founding academics of the institution. Since 1997, he has served the school with unwavering dedication, playing a pivotal role in shaping its Junior School and early-years academic culture. With decades of experience in teaching and pedagogy, Mr. Ahmed is widely respected for his ability to design and apply effective teaching strategies that help young learners clearly understand and enjoy their lessons.

He has devoted his professional life to educating pre-primary and primary-level students, believing that strong foundations are essential for lifelong learning. As a leader, he guides a team of teachers, officers, and staff in developing innovative teaching aids and learning tools for mathematics, science, and language studies—resources that promote active learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Mr. Ahmed’s special areas of interest include formative assessment, peer learning, and the professional development of teachers working with young children. To enhance his expertise, he has participated in international conferences, workshops, and training programmes in the USA, UK, Finland, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia. In addition, he has authored and edited nearly 80 books for primary students, significantly contributing to early-years education in Bangladesh.
